In 95% of cases, whenever I come across a company offering services like Simple Traffic does, I run the other way, because most of the time, it’s a scam. However, what this program offers just might fit into the 5% of legitimate exclusions and in this review, I’ll explain why.
5 disclaimsers about this Simple Traffic review:
1) I did not buy Simple Traffic’s packages. A lot of what I gathered for info on this review is based on other reviews of people who have used it and what their conclusions/results were (I will be sharing that with you what tons of others are saying about Simple Traffic).
2) I happen to be an expert at traffic generation (I’ve gotten millions of targeted visitors to my sites). I know what I’m talking about.
3) I understand how traffic generation works and how to figure out what companies like Simple Traffic offer, meaning I know how to distinguish if the traffic is legitimate, targeted or just junk.
4) Overall, based on what I’ve researched (and know on the topic), my opinion of Simple Traffic is that it is a legitimate service and you should probably try it’s 5 day trial and other services if you can afford it (I will be linking to it). However:
5) I am a huge proponent of alternative ways of getting targeted traffic to your site, whether it be free, or through paid means (which can be a bit more expensive) and this is because when you know how to generate targeted traffic, in my opinion it will always be better than what any third party service can provide.
Now with all this said, if you’re still reading this review of Simple Traffic, let me get to everything I gathered and know:
A summary and review of Simple Traffic:
Who created Simple Traffic?
Ascend Group.
How much does Simple Traffic cost?
- A 5 day trial is available (2,500 visitors).
- You can also use one of their 9 traffic plans, which start at $15 a month for 15,000 visitors all the way up to the $400 a month plan for 600,000 visitors.
What does Simple Traffic offer?
Traffic generation services. You sign up with one of the plans, enter in your URL to where you want the visitors to go and then Simple Traffic helps you targeted visitors to your site by matching their interests according to your site’s topic, thus helping you receive targeted visitors.
My rating for Simple Traffic: 2.5 out of 5 stars
Recommended? Somewhat.
Like I said before, the service is legitimate and you will get real visitors to your site, but based on what I already know on the topic, and what other reviews I read said (which confirmed it), in MOST cases, you’ll likely get cold traffic and while it can convert to sales and opt ins, I would honestly recommend the following:
- Knowing how to generate very targeted traffic yourself (it’ll be better quality visitors).
- And/or using this service along with your own knowledge on traffic generation.
Either way, while the service is legitimate and not a scam, I would not fully rely on it and like I said before, give the 5 day trial a shot if anything. You will get visitors, but don’t expect conversion rates to be through the roof. For that, there’s better alternatives in my opinion.
Alternatives? Yes.
Simple Traffic: A detailed review of the service
On the surface, the service provided by Simple Traffic is pretty clear: Start a 5 day trial, then upgrade to one of the packages, and get traffic to your site.
But when you’ve been in this business as long as I have and understand traffic generation, you just have to dig further, and that’s what I did. And most of the time, here’s what you learn:
- Nothing beats knowing how to generate your own targeted traffic (that gets the most conversions).
- Generally the cheaper traffic generation services are, the worse the quality of that traffic is.
In the case of Simple Traffic, there’s an interesting exception to these “rules” I’ve come to know and these should be labeled as the pros:
The pros of Simple Traffic:
1) First, they literally offer you a 5 day trial so you can see this for yourself.
2) Next, the traffic packages are large enough in size and low enough in price to at least give it a shot.
3) They are transparent about where they get their traffic from (this is a double sided thing though).
4) Based on the reviews I read, it is legitimate and they truly send you the promised traffic (that’s excellent). I’ll be covering the reviews I found shortly.
5) Compared to places like traditional solo ad providers, Google Ads and other pay per click networks, you’ll definitely pay a lot less, but at the same time, you are less in control of the quality of that traffic.
The cons of Simple Traffic:
1) Truly high quality, targeted traffic is hard to find in my experiences like this. It’s basically a solo ad service, but one of the better ones out there.
2) They legitimately do try to send you the best traffic, but the way this area of marketing works, it’s very difficult to do and in my opinion, most of the traffic is just cold (this is how it normally is across the board for services like this).
3) I would not recommend relying on this service elusively and at best mixing it up like I suggested above.
4) The sources they gather their traffic from might have a lot of cold/junk traffic.
5) If you’re a beginner and don’t understand how to turn cold leads into buyers, then this service might be difficult for you to convert through and for that I suggest training from places like Wealthy Affiliate.
What are the reviews of Simple Traffic saying? Here’s what I found:
The thing about reviews is that just because you see a high rating, doesn’t mean it tells the whole story and in this case, you have to dig deeper into them to get the full context and that’s what I did. In the following reviews I’ll be sharing with you, here’s the common thing I found:
- Reviews are pretty positive across the board for Simple Traffic (this is excellent to see).
- Yes they do send you real traffic and people get excited about that and thus give it a high rating (but there’s more to the story).
- As you dig deeper, you find conversion rates and sales DO happen, but in very low numbers (maybe a few out of a 1,000).
- There are people who do indicate that their conversions are very low from this service (I’m not surprised to see this).
Note: There is another program out there called Simple Traffic Blueprint, but it is completely unrelated to this program (and focuses on YouTube traffic generation).
And so, here are the reviews of Simple Traffic:
1) Source 1: The reviews of Simple Traffic on this site are pretty positive. It’s pretty much mixed between the things I mentioned above, where people were satisfied with the service. Some said no sales were made, while others said sales were made. One thing that is indisputable is that the service is provided. However results are not guaranteed.
2) Source 2: This Trustpilot page on Simple Traffic is also pretty positive (4 stars and up average), but most of the reviews are just talking about the satisfaction of actually getting the traffic, not exactly mentioning their results.
3) Source 3: This Site Jabber page with Simple Traffic reviews is also pretty positive across the board. But you have to read beyond just the rating and if you do (like I did), you’ll notice most of them say the traffic is hard to convert, although (once again), the service is delivered as promised.
4) Source 4: A Quora post on Simple Traffic and here is where you will find more negative reviews of the service including claims of bots. Draw your own conclusions.
5) Source 5: Here is a YouTube video of someone who used Simple Traffic. The thing that struck me (not in a good way) is that out of the 1,000+ visitors the person got, MOST of the traffic this person received stayed on the site for less than a second. Here’s proof:
Conclusions on Simple Traffic: It can work, but…
The conclusions I originally drew on Simple Traffic proved right (and this is post research). This site does work (at best), and the traffic is cheap, but again, you will get what you pay for, and by that I mean most of the traffic you get to your page will likely be cold. I do also have some worries about potential bot traffic, but the general consensus is positive (on the services end).
If you’re going to rely on this service, you will have to try to ensure your online sales funnels are tight. Me personally, I’d rely less on services like this and more on what I have already been using to get double digit conversion rates across multiple sales funnels I run.
Typically, what I do is this:
I blog about relevant content and keywords to get ranked for them. This attracts me loads of high quality traffic ready to buy whatever it is I am offering.
I also do a lot of paid ads, and only chase very targeted niche crowds for specific keywords in my ads. I pay a little more than I would for what Simple Traffic’s services offer, but I also get many times the quality of traffic as a result.
If you’re new to traffic generation, using a service like Simple Traffic may help you build up an email list, get sales or leads, but again, there’s different levels of traffic in the online world and with cheap, paid traffic, it’s rare to get good quality traffic in general.
But one thing you can definitely expect is the number of clicks they promise will be delivered and for that I like this company.
I’m not against using services like this (I might use them for a test in the future, but previous experiences showed me why relying on my own method works better, but if I’m wrong, I’ll update this review), but having seen the differences between very high quality traffic and other types, I stick to what I mentioned above.
If you’re interested in learning how I build an online business and generate red hot leads (or you’re completely new), I’d recommend checking out Wealthy Affiliate where I learned this from.
