I just read Anthony Morrison’s eBook called 8 Figure Funnel Formula and in this post want to share a review and summary of what I “learned” from it, which honestly isn’t really much, but it does have some good points for beginners.
Now before I start this review of 8 Figure Funnel Formula, I have to say that to actually read this eBook, I had to do a lot more than just opt in on Anthony’s site (and I was a bit annoyed by that).
In fact, here’s what happened:
- I saw an ad on YouTube from Anthony Morrison talking about affiliate marketing.
- I clicked on the ad, it took me to the page advertising the 8 Figure Funnel Formula. I was told I’d get it as a free gift.
- I opted in. That took me to an offer page for $7 a month, which I didn’t want to know about.
- I just wanted to the eBook and after checking my inbox several times, I never got it.
- I Googled it and found a free version of it on Slideshare. And that’s how I read it.
Now perhaps I made a mistake somewhere along the way, but if you also run into this issue, let me know below. Either way, I was able to read the 8 Figure Funnel Formula eBook eventually. And this finally brings me to the point:
Here’s a full 8 Figure Funnel Formula review:
Who wrote 8 Figure Funnel Formula?
Anthony Morrison.
How much does 8 Figure Funnel Formula cost?
It’s free, but if you “get it” through Anthony’s site, there’s an offer to join “Profit With Anthony” for $7 a month after you opt in (I didn’t do that).
What does 8 Figure Funnel Formula teach?
Basically how to use Clickfunnels and create several different sales funnels and make money from it.
It’s basically a walk through of how Anthony Morrison runs his email marketing business and notes on that.
It’s 25 pages long (at least on the Slideshare version I read).
My rating for 8 Figure Funnel Formula: 2 out of 5 stars
Do I recommend 8 Figure Funnel Formula? Well it’s free so sure. However:
I personally think it’s very on the surface in terms of quality content and maybe if you’re a complete beginner to Clickfunnels, email marketing and making money online, you may be able to find value in this.
Me personally, I believe there’s much better free content on this same subject in other places (I’ll share some of them with you in this review).
Overall, I’ve known and reviewed Anthony’s products for years and at no point have I ever recommended them and not because there was a scam or anything, but it’s because the ones I did review in my opinion were pretty low quality.
He is certainly a very successful internet marketer, and perhaps one of these days I’ll find a program of his that I like (since he does make new ones every now and then) but my opinion is that it’s mainly done through being great at marketing.
In terms of value, I think the stuff he teaches works, but based on what I’ve seen so far, in my opinion it’s focused a lot on hype and I like more substance. Subjectively speaking, I see more hype than substance in his stuff and this eBook has certain good parts, but overall, I didn’t enjoy it.
Alternatives? Yep:
A summary of 8 Figure Funnel Formula:
Anthony talks in great length about how he uses Clickfunnels to make his online sales funnels. Now he does say he’s not pushing it, but at the same time, I know he’s a top promoter for it.
Either way, the fact is, he uses this program, I do think it’s legitimate (but I don’t recommend it personally), and if you follow Anthony’s advice and most of his programs that I’ve seen, I do believe Clickfunnels will be pitched to you.
Anyway, moving on:
Anthony gives people an overview of sales funnels starting with squeeze page funnels (to collect emails, then lead magnet funnels (gifts offered for emails), sales letter funnels, and other variations of this.
The main goal in Anthony’s business is email marketing and a lot of what he does first is attracts people to opt in pages, specifically lead magnets from what I’ve seen, offers people free gifts (like 8 Figure Funnel Formula in this case), and then leads people into higher ticket programs he runs/promotes.
And this eBook is basically an encapsulation of that system.
Some parts of the eBook that I did like were the different explanations of funnels that he talks about. There is also a section where he mentions different traffic sources he shared notes on including:
- Solo ads.
- YouTube.
- Google search.
- Facebook.
He makes notes on each of these traffic methods and I’m glad he mentioned that solo ads was pretty low quality traffic (I agree with him), but overall, based on what I know, he uses at least 3 of these to generate traffic to his funnels, and then subsequently to his offers on the back end.
Now in my case, the eBook on slide share cut off at 25 pages, but I think by that point, I got the gist of things to make an informed review on this eBook.
Conclusions. I didn’t find much value in 8 Figure Funnel Formula, but:
There are 3 alternatives, all of which are free that do have a lot more value in my opinion than this eBook. Here they are:
1) Russell Brunson’s Funnel Hackers Cookbook:
Ironically, while I don’t recommend Russell Brunsons Clickfunnels, I generally like and recommend his eBooks and Funnel Hackers Cookbook is a great example of a free resource that provides similar info on sales funnels like 8 Figure Funnel Formula does, but in MUCH greater value in my opinion.
You can get it for free, I don’t promote it, so you can draw your own conclusions.
2) My free resource on online sales funnels:
Russell and Anthony aren’t the only successful marketers in this realm. I do online marketing too and while my income numbers aren’t on their level, I do make a full time living at it and have a bunch of experience making all sorts of online sales funnels and that link I just provided will show you at least 10 of them.
3) Wealthy Affiliate (more action oriented stuff):
The above 2 options are more informational based content and if you’re someone looking to actually take action with making money online, then I recommend Wealthy Affiliate well over Clickfunnels, or any program by Anthony Morrison (even if he has a good one I haven’t reviewed yet).
The thing to note is that Wealthy Affiliate is basically a much less expensive way to enter into the online marketing world and learn more ways to make an income at it. Based on what I’ve seen, Anthony typically sells high ticket programs and a lot of the training there deals with email marketing, Clickfunnels and also paid ads, all of which is highly expensive stuff.
However, it’s also optional, and you can succeed with less financially risky ways. This is what Wealthy Affiliate teaches you how to do, and that’s how I learned it. It’s also free to try and I think the resources, information (and action steps) you’ll find there will be of great value to you.
