301k Challenge Review. Not a Scam But There’s Pros And Cons

I consider Igor Kheifets to be a legitimate affiliate marketer and subsequently, also believe his teachings and programs work. He has released a new one called 301k Challenge and in this review, I’d like to give you my take on it.

I’m not going to beat around the bush with all of the “is it a scam?” build up, so here goes:

5 quick things to note about this 301k Challenge review:

1) It is not a scam. I think it’s a decent program, but in my opinion expensive.

2) I did not buy it.

3) This review is based on several sources, including an inside look YouTube video I’ll be sharing of 301k Challenge, what I saw there, what I know about affiliate marketing and the fact that I’ve reviewed at least one other program by Igor (Elite Affiliate Pro).

4) I think the methods taught in 301k Challenge are a bit advanced (email marketing, solo ads, paid ads and SEO which I like) and personally think that while it works if you follow it’s strategy, there may be cheaper ways to get started.

5) I am recommending the 301k Challenge program, but I do think there are better options in my opinion.

The short review and summary of 301k Challenge:

301k challenge review

Who created 301k Challenge?

Igor Kheifets.

How much does 301k Challenge cost?

$197.

Additionally, you may have to spend extra money on things like autoresponders, paid and solo ads, and other things like a website.

What does 301k Challenge teach?

It’s a 30 day challenge (with 3 extra days added in) which helps you set up your first successful affiliate marketing campaign. It goes through the process of:

1) Finding affiliate offers that convert (on Clickbank for instance).

2) Then setting up an autoresponder, then a capture landing page to collect emails.

3) Then funneling traffic to the site mainly through solo ads, and possibly paid ads.

4) Capturing the email/s, then sending followups to get the sale.

My rating for 301k Challenge: 3 out of 5 stars

Do I recommend 301k Challenge? It’s more yes than no.

While I think there’s better alternatives, this program is legit as is Igor like I said before and I’ll provide links to his page to help you learn more. But overall, the methods taught by Igor are very consistent, whether it be on this program or the other I’ve reviewed before (Elite Affiliate Pro).

I think the method taught is very old school affiliate marketing and I personally am not a fan of it, but it works for Igor and he practices this consistently and gets results, and different strategies may work for some, but not others.

For me, I stick to things I find to be less financially risky for the most part that I’ll explain shortly.

Alternatives? Yes:

I do have several on my recommended section, but my top choice is:

A detailed review of 301k Challenge:

So for starters, I have to give a big shout out to this YouTube video review of 301k Challenge. It’s an inside look of the 301k Challenge program and gave me 90% of everything I needed to know about this program to write this review.

The other 10% came from my own knowledge and a previous review of Elite Affiliate Pro which teaches similar strategies, but more so for high ticket affiliate marketing purposes.

The good news about the whole program is that:

  1. It is well organized so it’s easier for beginners to use (a day by day lesson and action plan).
  2. It is legitimate.
  3. The strategies taught in the program are generally good for making sales.
  4. On Trust Pilot, List Building Lifestyle (Igor’s main website where he sells his products) gets very favorable reviews.

Let’s talk about it in more detail though:

Igor walks you through the process of making an affiliate sale/s through email marketing for the most part. But in addition to that, you also learn about making opt in pages, how to build up email lists and send traffic to these pages through solo ads, paid ads and even SEO strategies.

  • I am personally not a big fan of solo ads.
  • As for pay per click networks like say Facebook Ads, I think it’s advanced.
  • I also think list building is an advanced stage of affiliate marketing and is not easy to master.
  • The only strategies I am a fan of people using when they want to do affiliate marketing is: Blogging and YouTube ads.

For me, there is a different progression that I find to be easier for beginners to use to build up successful affiliate marketing businesses and it goes like this:

  1. You find a niche you love.
  2. Build a blog and/or YouTube channel.
  3. Make content on the blog/channel for the niche topics, and review the niche products (get traffic).
  4. Earn affiliate sales and build up your business that way before scaling into paid ads and email marketing (I don’t use solo ads).

This strategy is very much focused on you building an affiliate business via passions you have and while you can definitely apply Igor’s teachings for such a thing, this strategy in my opinion also carries an easier entry into the business, a lot of incredible potential (you can make a full time income) and it also gives you a good progression through the affiliate marketing world to work your way up the ladder of ways to build an affiliate income.

It’s the same method I’ve been using for well over a decade to fund my affiliate business and this is what I was taught in Wealthy Affiliate.

Conclusions on 301k Challenge: It’s good, but might not be for everyone

For me personally, a program like 301k Challenge teaches stuff I consider to be advanced for beginners, but definitely not something a beginner can’t succeed from.

On the contrary, I do believe that if you apply the strategies, you can succeed, but you will likely have to spend initial money on the training, and then more on the other tools and things that follow.

The way I help people in affiliate business is cheaper to begin with, and also has a high probability of success (if you apply it and work hard of course), but it may take longer (niche blogging and YouTube).

Having used what I was taught in Wealthy Affiliate, as well as many of the strategies (except solo ads) taught by Igor, I can tell you both options work, but the WA option is still in my opinion better geared to the beginner and/or a person with low funds to start (You can start for free by the way).
