I’ve been doing some research on Traffic Authority and in this review want to share what I discovered and combined with my personal knowledge on this subject, why I frankly do not recommend this program.
Let’s start this Traffic Authority review (a quick summary):
Who created Traffic Authority?
Honestly, I didn’t find this info on the page.
How much does Traffic Authority cost?
There’s different packages and services, so the prices vary for each thing. For example:
- Traffic Store: $200-$8,000+
- Traffic Optimizer: $49 a month.
- Traffic Academy: $97 a month.
- List Leverage: $497 (one time).
- Affiliate opportunity: $47 a month or $144 a month.
My rating for Traffic Authority: 2 out of 5 stars
Do I recommend Traffic Authority? No.
I do believe this service is legit, but there’s also a number of issues I find with any service like this in general and being an expert in the traffic generation realm, I would feel very uneasy about using something like Traffic Authority in general, not because I don’t think they’ll send me traffic (I believe they will), but because I don’t know how good the quality of that traffic really is and there are way cheaper alternatives that I personally use that I know for sure ARE high quality traffic (more on that later).
In general I am not a fan of outsourcing my traffic generation needs to third party services, no matter how much they promise me (high quality traffic, leads, ect…).
In the end, there’s too many “ifs” to this program and I don’t want to spend a lot of money on “ifs”. I won’t say this is a scam, but I have serious reluctance to get involved with this service, especially since it’s not the first of it’s kind anyway.
I trust my own knowledge on this subject, which I will be sharing in this review of Traffic Authority to get the job done (making money online) and that has always been what I used to succeed online.
Are there alternatives to Traffic Authority?
What is Traffic Authority? A deeper look and review:
The best way to understand this program is that it’s a service to get you more traffic to your site and make money from it, through email marketing and more.
On the front end, it’s different types of services for internet marketers to get traffic to their offers, such as:
1) Traffic generation packages (store):
meaning you buy an X amount of clicks from one or more of their of their packages and they send you clicks, supposedly targeted to whatever offer you want. This may just be solo ad packages.
2) The Traffic Optimizer:
Software and tools to help you make better email capture pages and analytical tools to help you optimize your online sales funnels such as exit pop ups, split testing software and more.
3) Traffic Academy:
You supposedly learn what Traffic Authority uses to generate traffic and use that on your own campaigns.
4) List Leverage:
A combination of email marketing training, tools, capture pages for opt ins and email swipes to use in your email marketing campaigns.
5) An affiliate program to promote Traffic Authority:
A Starter and Top Earner Package which actually gives you access to multiple services above all included together. You can earn money promoting Traffic Authority to others and this service is actually pushed quite a bit across the site (you see ads for it everywhere).
What are the pros of Traffic Authority?
- Some of the services might be worth the price, like the List Leverage program.
- I do also think there is some value in the Traffic optimizer.
- The traffic tracking is decent.
What are the cons of Traffic Authority?
- I personally do not fully trust any third party traffic providers.
- Prices for clicks are in my opinion quite expensive.
- They say you will get very targeted traffic, but I see no proof of this other than testimonials.
- There’s lots of talk about them getting traffic, but very specifics on how (you need to buy the Academy service).
- I know about traffic generation methods and rely on my own methods which I have far more control over.
- I see no Trustpilot page for Traffic Authority (hard to verify reviews in my opinion).
- I have heard this program is renamed after Infinite Leverage System (and I did not like that program).
My conclusions on my Traffic Authority:
While I’m not the biggest name in traffic generation, I have literally gotten millions of visitors to my sites and offers over the many years I’ve been an affiliate marketer. For example:
- 100,000’s through paid ad networks like Bing Ads.
- 100,000’s also through Google Ads.
- 10,000’s through places like YouTube ads.
- 100,000’s through the regular YouTube network.
- At least 1,000,0000+ visitors to my blogs over the years.
- 10,000’s of visitors to my Pinterest page.
So yeah, I know a bit about traffic generation to say the least (you can call me an authority on this in some ways).
And the only time I recommend “buying traffic” is when you have a lot of control over what the targeting is, not when you pay an outrageous amount of money to someone who says “trust us, we’ll get you the best traffic possible”.
So when I use pay per click networks for example, I have a lot of control over the type of ad I make and the targeting for it, such as:
- Keywords. I can select which specific keywords I want the ad to show for.
- Demographics. I want specific people to see the ad so I have control here.
- Budgeting. I can control how much I spend.
- Geographical regions. I can target which areas the ad can and cannot show for.
And these 4 things give me a far better leverage over my ads, vs just throwing that down the drain and putting faith in third party programs. And I’ll say this regarding that:
I am very consistently against any third party services to outsource traffic from, no matter if they’re solo ads or “the most trusted people and places” for that.
With Traffic Authority, one of my biggest issues is the hype behind their claims and the affiliate opportunity they provide people with which in my opinion dilutes my trust for them. I feel like a lot of people will join this program just to promote it and say “it works” when in fact they’re just promoting it and not using it.
The bottom line on this Traffic Authority review:
Even though I do think the service is legit, I honestly saw no evidence to call this service an actual authority in traffic and in the end, the traffic generating methods I’ve relied on for 10+ years still work today and still beat any solo ad or third party traffic providers in my opinion. Let me explain:
- Blogging: Blog about low competition keywords and get free traffic from Google.
- YouTube: Make YouTube videos on low competition keywords and get many views.
- Pay per click: Target keywords and make super relevant ads for those keywords so you spend little money and get truly targeted visitors. And I use pay per click networks for affiliate marketing.
- Social media: There’s many different branches here, but demographic targeting works best in these realms.
All of these traffic generating strategies I learned (and made much of my affiliate income from) came from studying this at Wealthy Affiliate, which by the way not only has the training on all of this, but also provides you with tools included for using these things (websites, hosting and more).
So you can save money and get the education needed to become a true traffic authority of your own for any niche you decide to build a business on.
